And I always through a surprise in there ... so you will have to wait to see that!!!
Ok now to enter I just want you to leave me a comment telling me what you and your family usually do on the 4th of July!! That's it.. can't wait to read them and pick a winner!!!!
Yeah I am so excited for this cute giveaway! My family goes to the parade and hangs out in the park! They always have vendors, yummy food, and tons of blow up toys for the kids to play on! Then we meet at my parents pizza place for dinner and to watch the fireworks! I love the 4th of July and the meaning of Freedom that comes along with this fabulous holiday!
ReplyDeleteSince I'm French & live in France, July 4th is not a tradition in our home. But... this year, I was inspired by many crafty blogs & decided to decorate the place with a few stars & stripes. And to top it all, we'll have an American dinner: I'm still gathering "supplies" but I can already tell you we'll have cranberry juice & some candy in the shape of hamburgers (yes, I did find that!).
ReplyDeleteSo what could be better than your homemade goodies to complement this 1st celebration?
Thanks for the chance!

My father-in-law and his wife are coming down for Independence Day weekend. We don't know what we are going to do yet. We are just excited he is coming! :D He hardly ever gets the chance to visit. But whatever we do it's going to be awesome! We always laugh and have fun when we are all together!
ReplyDeleteThese are super cute! We usually just go watch the parade, have a family BBQ, and then fireworks in the evening!
ReplyDeleteWe usually have a bar-b-que and/or picnic with family. Then we shoot off our own fireworks and later we go to the BIG fireworks show!
ReplyDeleteWe go to my brother in laws - BBQ - fireworks - kids running around, shooting hoops and doing sparklers - lighting up the fire pit when it starts to cool! I love it! Since the 4th is on a Sunday...and I live in Utah, the parade and fireworks are all the night before on the 3rd! So I get 2 days of Fireworks this year!
ReplyDeleteThe last few years we have put on a roping. This year we will be at a family reunion. Hopefully we can squeeze in some fireworks with the kiddos!
ReplyDeleteMy family also goes to my grandparents house for the weekend! My grandparents put on a huge firework show that all the neighborhood attends with many other family members! We spend all day eating and get all pumped up for the fireworks, such fun!
ReplyDeletePS I just love your blog and all your fun wood projects! You inspire me!! Thanks :) Love the stackers!! I would just love to win those!
I LOVE July...both the 4th and the 24th....I love going to parades...and yes, my kids get tired of me being the one to run into the rode to get the candy! I love going to the fireworks too! I love the holiday so much I even named my little girl born in July Liberty! Just a fun relaxed family sort of a holiday! Oh, and the good food makes it better!
ReplyDeleteWe usually just have a BBQ with family and head inside to watch the fireworks on TV (I think it is too hot in AZ to be outside).
ReplyDeleteWell, I don't know if we have a specific 4th of July tradition. It seems we are always traveling! But growing up, we always did homemade fireworks on my grandparents' driveway. Of course we all did sparklers and had to write our names with them in the air!! This year we are going to San Diego for the 4th! I can't wait to watch fireworks over the beach!!

How cute! We live in a small town and live right on Main Street so we get up at 6:00am, do the July 4th 5k for our town, then we set up chairs out front of the house and the family comes to watch the parade. There is a huge celebration at the park (where the parade ends) with games, food, crafts, and a car show! We do a BBQ with the family and when it gets dark we go to the park, lay out a blanket, and play with sparklers until the fireworks start! It has been the same since I was a little girl, and it's a tradition that will go on for years I am sure!
ReplyDeleteWe head to Jackson Hole for the 4th every year since I was 10 (that's 20 years!!). There are so many fun things to do there! Parade, fireworks, rodeo, plays, shopping, and playing! I have loved passing on the tradition to my girls!
ReplyDeleteOur 4th of July traditions have changed in the last 4 years... my son works for Fireworks West here in Logan and this is the busiest month for them... So this year we will watch the fireworks on the 2nd... then he is headed to Jackson for 2 more shows. I guess that means I get to go and watch the Cache Valley Cruise In and the Daytona 400 and be "boss" for the whole weekend! Maybe I can get some crafting in (for a change)... lol. I love your stackers... they are soooo dang cute! Happy Independence Day to you and your family! Huggies!
ReplyDeleteMy husband and I always go to the biggest firework show in the state. This year Carrie Underwood is performing so it should be fun.
ReplyDeleteSuper Cute!!! I LOVE your blog....
ReplyDeleteOur 4th of July traditions have included going to a parade in the morning, having a barbeque in the afternoon, and finishing of the day with watching fireworks from our home. We recently just purchased a boat this year and I think this may become our new 4th of July tradition to go boating....
We love every holiday in our house, the 4th of July included! We usually get together with family, have a big potluck BBQ, and then watch fireworks while eating homemade ice cream. Love it!

But, this year, my husband in running in the Peachtree Roadrace in Atlanta...where we live. I hope to join him next year and get the tradition going. The rest of the day will be spent with my husband and 3 kids.

ReplyDeleteWe usually have a big BBQ and go to the big firework show..
ReplyDeleteThese are AdOrAbLe!! I just love your stuff!!
ReplyDeleteOkay, my family usually just has a picnic, hits a parade, and lights off fireworks. We live in Wyoming and we practically spend our life savings on fireworks. It's so much fun, waaay better than watching someone else shoot them. My husband gets nervous when we break out the roman candles and have our annual fireball fight, but I think that's only because the first year we let him play he hit me and singed my hair. Meh, still worth it.
Thanks for the chance!!
We love fireworks so we do a lot of those from home and then go some place to watch the big ones. We BBQ and enjoy ourselves spending time with family and friends. My kids love parades so we always attend a parade somewhere. I love the 4th. Your stuff is so cute.
ReplyDeleteSuper cute! We usually have a busy 4th. Breakfast at our church, parade at noon, afternoon at the lake and over to watch fireworks. Fun and exhausting!
ReplyDeleteCute! I LOVE the 4th of July! It's such a fun day to get together with family and bbq, swim, and watch fireworks! As a family we make shirts for the 4th. We've used tie-dye, paint, applique, etc. It's fun to come up with something new each year!
ReplyDeleteJust want to say you have such cute crafts on here!
ReplyDeleteAs a family we find a fun parade, then come home for a sprinkler run with the kids, watch fireworks from our house and my husband will finish our night with his fireworks!!

ReplyDeletethe 4th of July is my favorite holiday!! I am all about the patriotic feel to it, the parade, the family dinner we host here @ our house, the huge gathering @ MIL's & the kids @ the carnival!! *sigh* just wish it was longer than a weekend.
I seriously hope I win! You make the cutest stuff. Our family usually goes to the community celebration and does all the fun things there. We missed it last year because we were out of town so I'm way excited for this year's event.
