I love craft nights...

So me and my girl Kylee got together and made these cute little countdowns for Halloween . They were pretty simple but so time consuming..
They are just cookie sheets that we modge podged with scrap book paper. Then we used all kinds of things for magnets... buttons, cute little brads we found at Ben Franklin, skeleton hands, and glass beads with paper on the back. My kids love picking a new magnet to put on every day. We are planning on making one for Thanksgiving and Christmas too!! Can't wait :)

  1. They turned out super cute! That's so awesome she loves to craft with you... I'm going to tell you a secret... my 23 year old son, Josh, used to scrap with me... in fact we used to teach a "Mom and Me" scrapbook class until one day some of the girls from the middle school came into the store and saw his picture on the wall as a teacher and gave him so much static... he refused to craft with me ever again. I miss it... lol...

  2. How cute! I used to live in st george ut and i miss Ben Franklin! coolest store! its not in AZ...we dont even have iceburg! whats that about?! lol:) Anyway cute calender i love it!

  3. Those are so adorable. The possibilities of design seem endless. You really have my "wheels" spinning with ideas. Thanks for sharing.

  4. sooo cute, lyns! that looks TOO time consuming for me, lol! just spent a lot of time checkin our your halloween decor, you've been busy! too adorable, love all your subway art! (:

  5. Super Cute! You could even put vinyl on there with the numbers of the days! I did one like this and put the number of days on the cookie sheet in vinyl and mixed them all up so every day we had to look for the number! Kids love this kind of thing! :) You did an awesome job!

  6. Lyndsey,
Thanks! These countdowns are fabulous - I might have to make a Christmas one - love it!
So where do you guys live? We are in Clinton. It would be fun to get the boys together for a play date sometime. Let me know if you'd like to, my email is mermaid@brogueaprons.com.
